NOSE PLUGS
FOR NEEDLESS
DRAGONS

THIS— this here, whatever your expectations, think again.

UNLESS, my friend, your expectations were to nix any and all expectations than you have come to the right place.

For in the beginning, that is the end, of one thing or another, that is to say, in a manner of speaking, frankly and plainly, this is a motivational lecture, yes, very compelling, all about the thing, that's right, the thing, the name of which escapes me.

However, it has come to my attention that some argue that there is no such thing and, furthermore, concerns have been raised as to whether this exposé has any real purpose at all. Well, I wish to put such rumors to rest by readily affirming that it does not.

And yet here you are still. Still reading this in silent contemplation.

Says a lot about yourself doesn't it?

Nevertheless, to return back to the topic at hand, which is, as you'll remember, the thing I can't recall.

And, yes, my friend, indeed, that is a topic worthy of discussion! Very deserving! Now, one might inquire how exactly does another speak of or about the thing they cannot remember or know nothing about. Well, this is simple enough, easily accomplished, yes, very easy, quite.

For that is the thing, my dear friends, what is called "politics."

POLITICS— indeed, verily, yes, quite, right.

And a world without politics is an abysmal world, indeed, my friend, yes, very abysmal, abysmal being a good word, exactly.

For a world without politics would begat all the things that politics has tirelessly toiled to prevent, which as you might recall is the very thing I don't remember.

Exactly right!

Furthermore, I think the situation about the thing, that is of course, the thing about the situation, to be a very grave one, yes, very grave.

Indeed, verily, yes, quite, right.

Now, at this point, I suspect, and rightly so, that all this talk about politics is growing quite toilsome, as is the case with most things on the political spectrum.

So, I ask of you, my fellow citizens of our humble swamp of a planet, what is the solution to this, the thing, as you may recall that I could not possibly forget.

For forgetting would be entirely out of the question. For thinking but not feeling the meaning of the thing is unthinkable, unconscionable, unfissionable, unpliable, inflammable, I dare say, and I do say. For it is the obverse, not thinking and feeling, that is the very thing called "patriotism."

PATRIOTISM!

Indeed, verily, yes, quite, right!

And what manner of a man would I be to argue against patriotism? Nay, sir, nay, what form of lowly worm might I be referred for such a grievous misstep?!

The answer? A common earthworm? No, certainly not.

No, an inauspicious inefficacious!

Yes, dearest friends, the inauspicious inefficacious, the lowliest of all invertebrates!

Saved for certain former presidents, naturally.

Of course.

And you know what that is friends? Do you? Huh, DO YOU?! Do you know what I call that?

Politics.

Indeed, verily, yes, quite, RIGHT!
